Hi!
My name's Elijah.
Nice to meet you.
I was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles, and am now based in New York City. I’ve had a deep love for all things artistic since I was very young, going to the movies with my parents.
As a dancer, I began training in hip-hop and street styles before branching out into ballet, modern and jazz as I did more and more theatre work. I attended New Roads School for high school before majoring in Drama at Vassar College, class of 2021. I also was fortunate enough to spend the fall of 2019 in the Semester Programme — Classical Acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA).
I’ve acted in many theatre productions, from musicals to Shakespeare to modern classics, as well as serving as a movement director, and training in improv, including improvised Shakespeare, for one year. I’ve also choreographed for both stage and short film projects. Over the past couple years, hip-hop and house have been my primary dance styles of focus. I’m branching out as an actor into film as well, which was only right as a movie theater is one of the likeliest places you’ll find me.
I love creative environments with a collaborative spirit, and if you’re reading this, I hope to find myself in one with you very soon.
